Police recently arrested a third man believed to have taken part in a string of burglaries along Singer Island in Palm Beach County, Florida.
According to law enforcement, the suspect was part of a group of individuals who committed a number of car burglaries in early April. Law enforcement said that at least 23 cars were burglarized during the robbery spree.
A little more than a week after the thefts, Riviera Beach police arrested two suspects: a 19-year-old male and an 18-year-old male. Both suspects were charged with multiple counts of burglary.
When the initial arrests were made, authorities revealed that they believed the suspects had been involved in a nationwide crime spree.
Riviera Beach FL police continued to investigate the burglaries and eventually identified a third suspect in the case. Now that suspect has finally been located and arrested in connection with the auto thefts.
The suspect is likely to be charged with at least one count of burglary to a structure.
At this time, police have classified the investigation as active and ongoing. According to a spokeswoman for the Riviera Beach Police Department, it is possible that more charges will be forthcoming for the three suspects.
