Riviera Beach FL Police Investigate Shooting Death

Riviera Beach FL Homicide AttorneysRiviera Beach FL police are investigating the recent shooting death of a 20-year-old man.

According to authorities, the victim’s body was discovered in a parked car in the area of Avenue O and West 37th Street in Riviera Beach, Florida.

Police went to the scene after receiving a report of shots fired in the area. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim’s body in a car.

A short time later, members of the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office came to the scene and confirmed that the victim was, in fact, killed as a result of gunshots.

Although police have not released the identity of the victim, a city police spokeswoman said that he was 20 years old.

The death has been officially classified as “suspicious.” Riviera Beach police are actively investigating the shooting and looking for suspects.

If a suspect is eventually identified and apprehended, they could face significant penalties. As set forth by Florida Statutes Section 782.04, a first degree murder conviction can potentially result in a life sentence.
