North Palm Beach Man Charged with Aggravated Battery, Allegedly Stabbed Brother
Police arrested a man who allegedly assaulted his brother in North Palm Beach, Florida.
According to law enforcement, the 33-year-old suspect attacked his sibling during an argument about a bottle of shampoo. The incident occurred at an apartment located on Yacht Club Drive in North Palm Beach, FL.
The verbal dispute got out of control and reportedly escalated to a physical altercation. At one point, the suspect allegedly grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim. The fight reportedly resulted in the victim sustaining a four-inch-long cut to his arm.
After the altercation, someone notified local law enforcement of a possible domestic disturbance at the apartment. When police arrived at the residence, they spoke with the suspect and the victim. Police eventually determined that the suspect had stabbed the victim.
The victim was transported to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. The victim received treatment in the emergency room and was later released.
Meanwhile, police placed the suspect under arrest. The suspect has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
After being arrested and processed, the suspect was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail. He later secured his release from jail by posting bail. While the suspect is free on bail, he will have to submit to mandatory supervision.
